You may have been tested on your knowledge of the elements of art this week, and chances are you probably did not do so well! The seven art elements have been the focus of our learning for the past few weeks. These elements could be described as the parts, or building blocks, that combine to make a visual artwork. Many of our lessons focus on gaining skill in one or two specific elements. A firm knowledge of these elements as vocabulary words also helps us to better describe and analyze the artworks and visuals we see around us.
